Katelyn grew up in, Elmwood, Wisconsin, a small town of less than 800 people. Her father spent more than 25 years as a welding supervisor for a process engineering firm before spending 10 years as a welding instructor at DCTC until his retirement. Katelyn’s mom worked as an office manager in the county courthouse’s land management department. She is the youngest of three siblings.

Katelyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science and a minor in human resources management. After graduation, she moved to the Twin Cities and worked for a variety of well-known Minnesota based companies, including the Toro Company, Donaldson and Cemstone. She has grown her career from a role as Recruiting Coordinator up through higher supporting recruiting positions, and finally to Senior Recruiting Consultant. Katelyn loves matching people to their dream role!

In her spare time, you can usually find her in the kitchen trying new recipes. (She’s even worked as a private chef and catered many parties!)

Katelyn moved from Minnesota to Scottsdale in 2019, and now resides in Long Beach, California with her wife, Jane, and their two rescue dogs, Cody and Poppy.
