Erika was born in Maryland at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Her parents were both career Navy medical officers and met on the job. She’s lived all over the U.S. until settling in Wisconsin and now calls the Twin Cities home. Erika’s younger brother is an Army Major and nurse. She is very proud of her family’s service.
Erika graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in business. She knew she had a passion for helping companies put the right people in the right seats and spent time consulting with small businesses on processes and people before getting into recruiting. Through that work, she discovered great joy in making a successful match between a job seeker and an employer. She is passionate about continuing education and completed an Equity & Diversity Certificate from the University of Minnesota.
Erika has placed marketing, creative, operations, and manufacturing talent at some of the largest healthcare and financial companies and state agencies in the Twin Cities. Her experience in a non-profit staffing agency has further driven her passion for inclusion and for getting to know the human behind the resume. Having worked as an operations leader, process consultant, agency recruiter, and hiring manager gives her a unique lens through which she can truly relate. She loves what she does, and uses humor, great questions, and intuition to connect with candidates and clients.
Erika married an Air Force veteran, Nate, in late 2019. Her free time is filled with yoga, barre, reading, and volunteering to help people improve their LinkedIn profiles. She values quality time with friends, her Dad, her nephew and niece, and most importantly, giving belly rubs to the cats.
